Transfer timing: departures and arrivals
Departing, we work backwards from your flight. The standard is to be at the departures curb two hours before a domestic flight and three before an international one, then add the drive time and a traffic buffer for the hour of day. That sum is your pickup time, and it is on your confirmation rather than something you have to calculate. Kennedy congestion between 6am and 9am can add twenty-five minutes to a downtown run, and the schedule already accounts for it.
Arriving, tracking starts when your flight leaves its origin, not when it lands. Early arrivals move the chauffeur up, delays move them back, and a diversion cancels nothing. Domestic arrivals get 60 minutes of free wait time from touchdown and international arrivals at Terminal 5 get 90, which is enough to clear customs and baggage without anybody watching a clock.

What makes a transfer go wrong, and how we prevent it

Landing early strands people
Tracking begins at your origin airport, not on approach. A flight that arrives 35 minutes ahead moves the chauffeur up rather than leaving you waiting for a car booked to the schedule.
Customs takes longer than you planned
International arrivals at Terminal 5 include 90 minutes of free wait from touchdown, and domestic arrivals include 60. Clearing customs slowly costs you nothing.
The bags do not fit
Vehicle class is set by luggage, not seat count. Four passengers with four large cases need an SUV, and telling us at booking is what prevents a second car at the curb.
Nobody can find the car
Your confirmation names the terminal, door number, and level. Add meet and greet and the chauffeur waits at the terminal door with a name sign instead.
