How hourly and as-directed hire works
Hourly hire is booked in blocks, with a three-hour minimum on most vehicle classes and a longer minimum on stretch limousines and buses. The clock starts at your first pickup and ends at your final drop-off, including the time the car spends waiting at the curb between stops. There is no separate waiting charge, because waiting is what you reserved the car to do.
As-directed means you set the route from the back seat. Nothing has to be finalized when you book, so client roadshows, property tours, site visits, and evenings that run long all work without a rebooking. Give the chauffeur the next address when you know it. If the day runs past the reserved block, the overage is billed in the same increments at the same rate, with no surge applied for the extension.
